1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any page, feature, or tool provided by Team Tools (the "Site"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

2. Service Description

Team Tools is a collection of browser-local developer utilities, including but not limited to JWT parsing, JSON formatting, JSON-to-Dart conversion, timestamp conversion, Base64 encoding/decoding, IP lookup, image format conversion, JPG/PNG ⇄ PDF conversion, and image grayscale conversion. We reserve the right to add, remove, modify, or discontinue any tool at any time.

Unless otherwise stated, the Site is provided on an "as-is" basis with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use the Site to:

  • Support personal or commercial development workflows.
  • Reference in teaching, training, or technical articles (with attribution).
  • Integrate into internal tooling (without redistributing the Site itself).

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Send excessive automated requests, attack, mirror, or otherwise interfere with the Site via scripts, crawlers, or bots.
  • Attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer, or compromise security mechanisms, ad placements, or access controls.
  • Upload, paste, or transmit any unlawful content, or content that infringes on the rights of others.
  • Use the Site or its content for any illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise improper purpose.
  • Resell, repackage, or redistribute the Site without prior written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

The source code of the Site is open-sourced under the MIT License on GitHub — you are free to fork, study, and modify it. The brand name "Team Tools", UI design, logo, and original blog content are protected by copyright; republishing requires attribution and a source link.

Third-party resources (such as PDF.js, Lucide icons, Tailwind styles) are governed by their own licenses. See the /licenses page and theNOTICE file in our GitHub repository for the full list.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your particular requirements. Tool output is for reference only — you are responsible for independently verifying the correctness and security of any result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or loss of goodwill.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount of fees you have paid us in the past 12 months (the Site is currently free, so this amount is 0).

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as GitHub, Vercel, Cloudflare) or integrate third-party services (such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense). Third-party behavior, policies, and availability are their own responsibility — we do not endorse any third-party content or service, and we recommend reading their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Modification or Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site (or any part of it) at any time, without prior notice. Reasons may include but are not limited to maintenance, security patching, legal/regulatory changes, or business adjustments.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (Chinese version) or the State of California, USA (English version). Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent People's Court (Chinese version) or a court of competent jurisdiction in California (English version).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the homepage and through GitHub Releases. The latest effective date of these Terms is June 12, 2026.
